Subbaraya Sagar Balancing Reservoir (S.S.B.R)

Preamble

Subbaraya Sagar Balancing Reservoir (S.S.B.R) has been constructed across local vagu near Kadavakallu (v), Tadipatri Mandal, Ananthapuramu District. Subbaraya Sagar Balancing Reservoir is a percolating tank which exits at the tail end of Mid Pennar South Canal with a capacity of 0.42 TMC. This reservoir feeds water to 29th distributory of Mid Pennar South Canal and to Tadipatri Branch Canal.

Mutchukota Balancing Reservoir (M.B.R)

Location	:	Mutchukota Balancing Reservoir (M.B.R) has been constructed across local vagu near Mutchukota (v), Tadipatri Mandal, Ananthapuramu District.

Latitude	:	14° 49' 37'' N
Ayacut	:	No direct ayacutis contemplated. Intended to stabilize the ayacut under Tadipatri Branch Canal.
Mandals Benefitted	:	Putluru, Tadipatri, Yellanuru, Peddapappuru
Dependable Net Yield	:	Insignificant. It is only a Balancing Reservoir.
Water Allocation	:	0.668 T.Mcft. of Tungabhadra water is intended to be stored at the reservoir to stabilize the aycut under Tadipatri Branch Canal.

The Guntakal Branch Canal (G.B.C) System

Location	:	The Guntakal Branch Canal (G.B.C) System takes off from H.L.M.C at Km. 181.136.
Ayacut	:	32,063 Acres
Mandals Benefitted	:	Vidapankal, Uravakonda, Guntakal, Gooty.
Water Allocation	:	4.52 T.Mcft. of Tungabhadra water is allocated for Guntakal Branch Canal (G.B.C) and Gooty Sub-Branch Canal (G.S.B.C) in Ananthapuramu District.
