Preamble
P.B.anicut system is an old medium irrigation project constructed
across Paleru river in Paleru basin in Prakasam District in the year 1962.The anicut is intended for diversion of water through
right side main supply channel providing irrigation facilities to an extent of 7,318Ac under 9 system tanks in 9 villages of
Jarugumalli & Singarayakonda Mandals of Prakasam district.
